    Your arch is so elegant and charming. That sentiment about the cupcakes is so funny. If Marie had given out cupcakes to the people, perhaps she wouldn't have lost her head!

    Beautiful arch, Kris...gorgeous imagery. This is the first Amethyst Birthstone submission I have seen...love that gemstone. I have a beautiful pair of amethyst earings that my girlfriend hand her husband presented to me when I moved from Ontario many years ago. There was an amethyst mine close to where they lived along Lake Superior and a beautiful amethyst gift shop there as well.
