This Thursday Challenge - Colour/Monet

http://thisthursday.wordpress.com/ This week our challenge was to use colour or to channel Monet in our work. I chose to do both. I wanted to recreate one of his water lillies painting but this time with a little guest. I call this card The Fairy of Giverny...

***Background was created using alcohol inks...

(The tiny fairy is by our wonderful sponsor this week, Patti from Lisa's Altered Art)

This is a beautiful card, Kris. You have certainly captured the feel of Monet's work in this piece. I love the alcohol inked background and the little fairy image is just adorable. Perfect! :)
