Here are 3 views of the first of 4 shoes that I'm creating for a Marie Antoinette Elegant Shoe Swap at Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group on Ning. This paper shoe is 8" long by 2.5" wide and filled with antique lace and trim from Flights of Fancy Boutique (my favorite on-line trim store). Some of the antique lace was hand-tatted by my Maternal Great-Grandmother. I wish my Grandmother was still here to see it. She'd love to see what I'm doing with all the lace and trim she gave me. I managed to charm myself today...I've never made anything like this before.
